The month of March continues the large-scale pressure variations which started in February. Easterlies occur more often. This is what meteorologists call an early spring. Temperature in March can rise to more than 20 °C but it can just as well sink below -10 °C. The first rays of the warming sun lead to a reduction of the heating activity in early spring and a gradually decreasing of the air pollution caused by heatings.
